DISCOVER LOCAL DIVING

Go on a 2 tank guided tour of some of Southern California’s best diving locations including:  La Jolla Cove, La Jolla Canyon, Shaw’s Cove, Heisler Park, Catalina, and so many more.

Chef Anton is a PADI Master Instructor and Award-Winning Magician from Hollywood’s Magic Castle.  Your magical scuba adventure includes two guided tours.  Learn where all of the points of interest are located in each site.  Chef also teaches you the names of the different fish species, sea shells, and other marine life along with interesting trivia facts.

During the dives, Chef entertains you with mind-boggling magic tricks.  Be careful, he may even play the Three Shell Game against you and let you bet with Sand Dollars.  But the magic does not stop there.  During your 1 hour surface interval, Chef blows you away with the same mind-boggling magic he performs at the Magic Castle in Hollywood.  Your private 20 minute show has to be seen to be believed.

This 3 hour experience is one-of-a-kind and is perfect for those looking for a unique and memorable activity.

La Jolla Canyon is a marine protected area.  Filled with octopus, lobster, and crab.  Divers most enjoy the canyon wall.  Each crack and crevice is a potential home for marine life so bring your flashlight.

One of my favorite dive sites in all of Southern California.  Known for its underwater labyrinths, you are in for a treat at this Laguna Beach location.

The entry way into the swim-through cavern is filled with a wide variety of fish species including Giant Sheep Head, Kelp Bass, and of course Girabaldi.  But the true magic happens when you navigate the twists and turns to find hidden valleys not visible above water.

Temperature 60 – 65 degrees

Down the road from Shaw’s Cove, this Laguna Site offers easy access to the beach and plenty of choices.  Known for its beautiful reefs, bring your Macro Lens and get glorious photos of Spanish Shawls.

“Nudi Nerds” welcome.

Considered by most, the best diving in Southern California.

Catalina Dive Park has it all.  Black Sea Bass, Ship Wrecks, Giant Kelp Forests, and even a plaque honoring Jacques Cousteau.  You will need to take the Catalina Express to get there so plan on a full day.  The dive park offers full gear rental and Catalina Island has great shopping and eateries.
