My wife and I were in Dominican Republic on a vacation when we saw a sign that read, “Learn how to Scuba Dive…Just ask Eddie.” He was easy to spot with a huge smile on his face. We start in a pool and go over all the basics. Within minutes you will be breathing underwater. It is so simple. As you feel more comfortable, you can take a lap with me under some water falls and experience for the first time what it feels like to fly underwater. This session takes about an hour.
If you feel comfortable, our next step is to go to Catalina and use the same skills you learned in a pool, but this time in an ocean. Don’t worry, Chef Anton will be holding onto you the entire time. It is like have cruise control for your dive gear. You only have to breathe and enjoy the ride.
If you have never taken a class from Chef Anton, you are in for a treat. Chef includes magic in all of the dive briefings as he explains what is needed for the certification.
